xmin horizon

The oldest transaction ID still needed for visibility by any active transaction, replication slot, or prepared transaction in a PostgreSQL cluster. VACUUM cannot remove dead tuples whose xmax is newer than this horizon. Long-running transactions and unconsumed replication slots push the horizon back, causing dead tuples to accumulate and bloat to grow.
