A TLS session resumption mechanism in which the server encrypts the session state and sends it to the client as an opaque ticket; on reconnect the client presents the ticket and the server decrypts it to restore the session without storing per-client state. TLS 1.3 delivers tickets via NewSessionTicket messages for PSK-based resumption.
