A wireless physical-layer link that carries data as modulated electromagnetic waves over a radio-frequency spectrum. Capacity is bounded by Shannon's theorem: bandwidth (Hz) and signal-to-noise ratio determine the maximum throughput. Radio links are shared, half-duplex in many configurations, and subject to interference, fading, and path loss.
