An inline-cache state reached when a call site has seen more than four distinct object shapes. V8 abandons local per-site caching and falls back to a global megamorphic stub cache (a fixed-size hashtable). TurboFan cannot inline a fast path for megamorphic accesses, making them the slowest IC state.
