HTTPS record
RU: HTTPS RR
A DNS resource record type (RFC 9460) that publishes HTTPS connection parameters — supported ALPN protocols (h2, h3), ECH public keys, and alternative ports — directly in DNS. A client that resolves an HTTPS record can skip an HTTP-to-HTTPS redirect, start with QUIC instead of TCP, and encrypt its TLS ClientHello with ECH, all from the first DNS response.
