RU: GeoDNS

A DNS technique where the authoritative server returns different A/AAAA records based on the geographic location of the querying resolver, directing users to the nearest datacenter. Location is inferred from the resolver's IP (or from the EDNS Client Subnet extension for finer granularity). GeoDNS can substantially reduce latency compared to a single global endpoint but requires careful health-check integration to avoid routing users to an unhealthy region.
